for College Excellence (PACE)... PACE is TLU's top
scholarship and carries a monetary value of up to $18,000 per

demonstrated leadership through service. They award $4,350 each

Scholarship... The Texas Society of Professional Engineers
and the Texas Engineering Foundation will award approximately
$100,000 in scholarships to students attending an

Texas Student Housing... This
scholarship is open to students accepted to colleges in Austin,
College Station, or Denton, who have NOT signed off-campus
housing leases. Scholarships are awarded for the full or
partial cost of an off-campus room for one academic year at the
Ballpark in Austin, Town Lake in Austin, the Ridge at North
Texas, and the Cambridge in College Station, or at an alternate

FEBRUARY
Cailloux Foundation Scholarship...
Sixteen renewable awards of up to $12,000 each ($48,000 over
four years) will be granted annually to new recipients meeting
the eligibility requirements. Applicants must have a minimum SAT
score of 1022 (verbal and math combined) or a minimum ACT score
of 22 composite, a minimum grade average of 85 (on a scale of
100), and be in the top third of their graduating class to be
eligible for consideration. Applicants must have a family
adjusted gross income of no more than $70,000 per year.
How to Apply
- Go to
www.applyists.net to access the scholarship application
between November 1, 2009, and February 1, 2010. Any eligible
student may complete the scholarship application for
consideration.
- The access key is CALOX.
- The application form is extensive. It
must be fully completed and all requested attachments
including the parents’ latest income tax return, other
financial information, and a list of all other scholarships
that have been applied for and received must be provided.
- The scholarship management company will
only review complete applications submitted by the deadline.
Be sure that you have actually submitted the
application online.
- All requested attachments are
required and must be mailed and postmarked by February 1,
2010.
James Avery Craftsman - Fine Arts
Scholarship... This scholarship will be awarded in the
amount of $5,000 in increments over eight semesters. You must:
be pursuing a career in the field of Fine Arts (i.e. graphic
art, sculpturing, painting, photography); have a GPA between
2/50 and 4.0; have applied as a full-time student to an
accredited college/university. Applications must be
postmarked by no later than Friday, February 19, 2010.

KFC is offering a scholarship for up to $5,000/year. You
must: be a graduating senior, maintain a high school GPA of 2.75

scholarship is for incoming freshmen to the university with
awards ranging from $2000-$25,000 per year. You must be

Best Buy @15 Scholarship Program...
This year the Best Buy @15 Scholarship Program will award 1,000
scholarships of $1,000 each to students in grades 9-12 living in
the U.S. or Puerto Rico who plan to enter a full-time
undergraduate course of study upon high school graduation.
They're looking for students with solid grades, who are involved
in volunteer efforts in their schools and communities, and/or
have a work history. Students must be planning to attend a
college, university or technical school in the fall immediately
following their high school graduation. 9–12th grade students
from private, public, alternative or home schools are eligible
to apply. Grants are a one-time award, so if you were a winner
in the past, you aren't eligible to apply again. Scholarship

Charley Wootan Grant Program... The
program offers grants ranging from $1,000 to $4,245 to qualified
undergraduate students. Only the first 2,500 applications from

consideration for a Wootan Grant. Applications received in
excess of these 5,000 will not be opened and processed. You
should complete the application and mail all required
documentation in one envelope as soon as possible, so the sooner
you mail this application, the better your chances of receiving

Rotary is
an international fellowship of business and professional
